Recycled products we produce
Frontier Tree Services are proud to be able to say that none of our tree waste goes to landfill. Good wood is milled for quality timber where possible or cut and split for firewood, any other waste wood/foliage is chipped into quality forest mulch. We also supply wood turners and artists with interesting/rare woods for a variety of projects.
All of these operations are carried out on-site at our Gold Coast depot and all of these products are available for sale, you are welcome to drop around to see what we have on offer, alternatively we do operate a delivery service. Please contact us if you require any further information.
The picture on the right shows the reclaimed butt and structural roots of a large scribbly gum that was irreparably damaged in a highly localized storm at Logan Village in SE Queensland.
The tree was dug out of the ground and trucked back to our Gold Coast yard, where it is being cleaned up in the hope that a local sculptor/joiner may be able to make use of it.

Good quality logs are milled at our Gold Coast yard and air-dried. The iron-bark slabs on the right have been drying for 2 years and are ready for use.
