Frontier Tree Services Gold Coast are a well-established Tree Services company servicing all areas of the Gold Coast. Our skilled workers, knowledge and integrity are what set us apart from the rest and makes our service like no other.
Established in 1991, Frontier Tree Services provides Tree Surgery & Pruning, Tree removal, Consultancy & Vegetation Management Plans for both residential properties and commercial developments. As qualified members of the Queensland Arboriculture Association you can trust we’ll provide you with the right advice and quality service you need. We work closely with the local Gold Coast City Council and can offer advice and assistance with your council applications.
Michael Spence, Director of Frontier Tree Services Gold Coast is a qualified arborist with a passion for arboriculture & the safety of your trees. You can trust that our crew of qualified climbers and skilled groundsmen know how to care for your trees and surrounding property. All our work is carried out to AS4373 Australian Standards and our staff are fully insured.
Michael is the company director, he has 20 years’ experience working in the industry as a climbing arborist and is currently enjoying the challenges of being a business owner. Becoming qualified in England Michael then went on to work in Sweden and America before settling in Australia. Because of his interest in trees, knowledge is plentiful and he has a great understanding of local regulations and processes. Michael is also on the committee for the Queensland Arboriculture Association.
Jen is our Office Administrator, working in the office part time Jen enjoys updating our social media accounts and keeping our website current. Jen is the part of the team that keeps everything running behind the scenes, as a busy mum she knows how to keep us all organised. Always happy and cheerful she’s here to answer our client’s questions and help in any way she can.
Koren is our Business Administration Manager who takes care of the running of our office. Having worked in the service industry for over 12 years her experience and customer service is second to none. Currently studying a Certificate 4 in small business management she is enjoying further developing her knowledge. As well as being the friendly voice at the end of the phone, Koren is busy organising everyone’s schedules and keeping Michael in check.
Described by our team as the “glue of the crew” and partial to cups of tea, Andy is our crew leader and qualified climbing arborist. Having over 10 years’ experience in the industry in both England and Australia he is a valuable team member who leads by example. His can do attitude and ability to fix anything amazes us all. Andy’s love for heights doesn’t just stop with tree climbing, most weekends he can be found hanging off a cliff face somewhere!
As an experienced groundsman and truck driver all our Arborists know they’re in good hands when Zac is on the ground. His rigging and rope skills on the ground are second to none, ensuring the safety of the climbers and putting their mind at ease when lowering large limbs. Zac’s uncanny knack for reversing trucks and trailers amazes us all and is a testament of his ability as a truck driver.
Working in the tree industry for approximately a year now, Adam has been quick to take on our lead stump grinding role. Adams friendly outgoing personality is sure to come across when meeting him, making him approachable and very helpful for any enquiries you may have while we’re on the job.
Tom is our friendly groundsman who is only too happy to help with anything you may need. His great attention to detail and professional attitude towards the job makes him a great asset to our team. Tom makes sure your property is left clean and tidy, so you’d never know we were there.
Matthieu is our latest addition to the Frontier crew. Originally from France, Matthieu offers a wealth of knowledge to our team and is keep to work more with our Australian native trees. His international experience and expert pruning techniques have quickly seen him become a highly valued member of our team. We warmly welcome Matthieu to the crew and look forward to continuing to work with him.
